DIA 6 – A VIDA É UMA ATRIBUIÇÃO TEMPORÁRIA

A vida na terra é uma atribuição temporária!

"Senhor, lembra-me de quão breve é o meu tempo na terra,. Lembra-me que meus dias estão numerados e que a minha vida está indo embora." Salmos 39:4 (NLT)

Para usar sua vida da melhor forma possível, você não deve nunca esquecer de duas verdades:

- Primeira: em comparação com a eternidade, a vida é extremamente breve.

- Segunda: a terra é apenas uma residência temporária. Você não ficará aqui por muito tempo, então não fique muito apegado.

Para impedir que fiquemos muito apegados à terra, Deus nos permite sentir uma substancial quantidade de descontentamentos e desgostos na vida – anseios que jamais serão satisfeitos deste lado da eternidade. Não somos completamente felizes porque não era para sermos! A terra não é o nosso lar definitivo; fomos criados para algo muito melhor.

Aos olhos de Deus, os maiores heróis da fé não são os que alcançam prosperidade, sucesso e poder nesta vida, mas os que trataram esta vida como uma atribuição temporária e serviram fielmente, aguardando a recompensa que lhes foi prometida na eternidade.

Quando a vida fica difícil e vocé é subjugado pelas dúvidas, ou quando fica imaginando se viver para Cristo vale o esforço, lembre-se de que você ainda não chegou na sua casa. Na morte, você não vai abandonar sua casa – você vai para casa, seu verdadeiro lar.

DAY 6 - LIFE IS A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT

Life on Earth is a temporary assignment!

"Lord, remind me how brief my time on Earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered, and that my life is fleeing away." Psalm 39:4 (NLT)

To make the best use of your life, you must never forget two truths:

- First, compared with eternity, life is extremely brief.

- Second, Earth is only a temporary residence. You won't be here long, so don't get too attached.

In order to keep us from becoming too attached to Earth, God allows us to feel a significant amount of discontent and dissatisfaction in life – longings that will never be fulfilled on this side of eternity. We're not completely happy here because we're not supposed to be! Earth is not our final home; we were created for something much better.

In God's eyes, the greatest heroes of faith are not those who achieve prosperity, success, and power in this life, but those who treat this life as a temporary assignment and serve faithfully, expecting their promised reward in eternity.

When life gets tough, when you're overwhelmed with doubt, or when you wonder if living for Christ is worth the effort, remember that you are not home yet. At death you won't leave home – you'll go home.
